I’m new to the surfboard shaping thing… I am going to be moving to Thailand to do a Scuba instructor course… and in my part time i’d like to shape my own board and go surf off Northern Thailand (Pattaya).
Anyone already out there in Thailand doing the same thing ?? Maybe we can combine forces?

I lived in thailand for a year and will be going back soon but to the BK area but I have a question, is there surf in thailand? I looked a lot when I was there and never saw anything that even seemed worth the bother. maybe Kite surfing would be good but havent gotten around to trying that yet.

There is surf in Phuket Thailand , surfing season from late may till late sept . Kata or Katanoi beach n some reef break near there , they have Qs pro contest there every year .
