…believe me , when I say a board is beyond saving , it really , REALLY is !! [most boards I have salvaged and resurrected from the dump , people couldn’t believe it ! ]

but these were BAD , trust me …

the fins , however were saveable …one was almost a keel size !

ben

…why not shove a fin on one (stuff fixing the dings.) and go to the bargain shop and buy a can of spray paint for $2.75.

Spray it completly and try it. It could be a magic board for 3$

enough from ‘save the boards/tree man’

Have Fun

Josh.

(another story , but…) these runners are ending up fcs tabbed , and going in my “prawn” fish …

this is part of the reason …

…d’oh ! …lesson learnt !

I never surf after 8 am,  its the dawn patrol or nothing. But today as i walked my daughter to school, the blue sky, and almost non existant offshore wind got me thinking. While at the park with my other 2, i noticed a few boards on cars heading to a spot near me, which is pretty popular ( crowded !! ).

I got home, and left my sick wife with the youngest 2, and headed out to my fave spot, expecting some fun waist high peelers. What did i find?? little overhead, low tide, one guy out, walling up pretty much to shore. Straight out and got some of the best waves i've had for ages. I dropped in late on one, and was going so fast down the face i was skidding like mad. When i hit the bottom i looked up at the feathering lip and the wall, but as i leant it over, it just washed out under me, just way too fast. I hit the sand and it wasn't fun but it made me stay out longer to get another one. I managed to get a few screamers all the way to the beach, which doesnt happen that often here.

Just pure dumb luck everything lined up for me today. I got spaghetti arms, and im tired. Love it

I had some of the longest and funnest rides i have ever experienced about a week or so ago on a “1-2” NJ swell, i brought of the HPLB and said hey it good to get wet… the winds switched at dead low and chest sets were coming in. Just me and Two other local old timers trading off with smiles all night. was so fun. Now im stoked on my nose rider/ Simmon im almost finished with
