The 34 year old guy who just got killed by one at Reunion Island will never know whether it works or not…
Aloha Balsa:
I need to try that. The junk part is that the mosquitoes usually land on my head… I don’t want to ding my board!

You guys need to get around more. Or turn on the lights.
Not vagina.
Vulva.
Swedish, eh?
I think the pattern attracts predators.
Works for me.
…leash nibbling at Kalk Baai… Jislaaik!!!
“Leash nibbling.” “I wonder what’s on the other end of this rope?” That must be conducive to a good night’s sleep. Yikes!

Tell me about it… I had heard the story over email and sunday was out for s urf here in Holland, for the record no dangerous fish here, and my leash caught something in the surf weed or something, I felt the tug and freaked … LOL!! Felt like such a wuss that I got angry and paddled twice as hard back outside to score some nice waves!!!
i think the idea of shark camo definately has merit - reading about is somewhere else it said that the black and white or black and yellow stipes are the same look as 1, sea snakes and 2, lion fish - both of these are very poisonous but wouldn’t hurt a shark from the out side due to the sharks tough skin - however if a shark eats a sea snake or a lion fish then it could and very probably would get bitten or stung from the inside of the shark where the tissues aren’t so tough thus killing the shark - sharks have been around for millions of years and probably know about this
ps - i live in cornwall in UK so it really is totaly irrelevant to me - we get the odd basking shark in the summer :o>
