Hi Greg, I was out surfing all day. Surfed with Bernie this morning at Ewa and then came home and surfed Diamond Head. Bernie tried his new 5 fin longboard, but his arm is not working. I cut my morning session short because I didn’t want to make him wait on the beach for me, especially since I’ll be “testing” that new board. So when I got back to town I went back out.

I have to take some things to my mother in law at the care home then get dinner for the family. Might have to wait until tomorrow, or late this evening. I’ll call you.

I feel sick

the waves were perfect this morning 5 guys out and unlimited waves

I did my best but it just hurt to much taht I almost went in as soon as I tried to paddle out because of the pain

but I sucked it up and did my best but I basically couldn’t paddle to get out when the sets came in and or paddle in to catch them

I don’t understand how bethany does it I am in awe

as I got a cramp in my left bicep from paddling so much with my left hand

had to make a couple whitewater takeoffs which sucked so I had to go in.

I did want to say though that I did notice how well the 9’0 paddled, very fast very smooth.

Unfortunately being right handed my left just couldn’t cut it even with how well that board cut through the water.

like I said I feel sick I can’t give another one of your beauties a run with this coming monster big west.

never saw such long perfect rights out here in a while with fairly decent crowds

when I told Harry it’s only 5’10" he said “no way that’s gonna float you, looks like its gonna end up for me.”… no way i’ll heal up sooner or later.

be interesting to get his expert (haha) feed back on this as he’s been riding my old 5 fin fish allot these days at diamondhead.

Fins will move rearward 1/8"  , it will be a fun time feeling this thing .
