last week: 1 diver seriously attacked in Freeport, airlifted to Miami, survived. this weekend 3 surfers suffered bites, all minor injuries i think (in Volusia County (Daytona area). these guys seem real hyper lately.
Gentlemen (and ladies) - more on that shark thang… DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Aug. 20 Sharks that regularly patrol the waters off Florida for small fish went after much bigger prey over the weekend six surfers. Three were bitten Saturday and three more on Sunday. A rash of attacks this summer has inspired fear in some beach-goers, but two of the surfers who got away say they wont hesitate to go back in the water. Be careful out there!!!
