WOW!!! Mind sharing with us the technique used to do that artwork?
my buddy is an illustrator who works for Disney. He drew this using pencil on the sanded hotcoat. i wish i could blow these images up - the small size just doesn’t do his creation justice! some of the detail is truly amazing.

wow dude that is one of the best art work done on a board that i have seen
It must have been very soft lead pencil to get such details on the sanded hot-coat… Great work! The drawback (no pun intended) is that one focuses on the artwork and forgets the shape work, which looks very fine, too.
Great Board , Awsome artwork.
Does anyone know of anybody in Aussie doing that kind of art. ???
Paul.
thats in-sane. i want one…
First class piece of work. Wish it was on one of my boards.
Hi Kirk.
Heaps Nice Board.
I am actually looking at doing something similar to my board.
Did you spray any type of coating over the top of the pencil?
If so what did you use and did you have any problems with it sticking to the pencil?
On one of my boards I have a couple of pencils marks I put on it when I measured it up. Been there for over a year now and they haven’t smuged but i wouldn’t trust it on a big pic over the whole board.
