I just set up a vacuum system in my shaping bay , it works great! The problem I am having is every once in awhile I get a small shock while I am shaping.
I have wrapped 3M conductive tape at different points on the hose and on the planer but still get the small electric snap.Any help would be great!
You either have no ground or a bad ground or its simply a static charge buildup.
Try a better grounding systems, you may need to check your wiring and pull in a ground.

I will check the ground,if it is static build up wont the conductive type counter act that? Thanks for the info.
