Show us the animals with whom you shape

Mr. Brooks.

Let me be clear.  I am not a cat man. I don’t like cats.  I do not condone cats in the workplace.  I do not believe that “hey, cats are people too, you know”.  I do believe that men and cats together is just wrong.

But he showed up, my wife started feeding him and he won’t leave my garage.  I’m pretty sure I have at least one black cat hair in every lam I have done since he took over and began running the place. (cats don’t have owners; they have staff).  I just hope he keeps me on.

Mr. Brooks, I just don’t know how to quit you.

Who is in the garage with you?  Yorky, your bird?

Matilda, she pretty much rules the roost.

Will I still be allowed to post here after this?

Does a wife and kids count? They seem to be hang arounds when dad is REALLY trying to focus. Atleast with the animals they listen when I tell them to beat it.

yeah my parrot was kicked out of the house after he ate all the plaster off the walls. We clipped his wings and he could come and go as he pleased. Also I had a Border Collie dog that went everywhere with me…They Both have Pass on RIP Miss D and Oscah (Bird)

I have 2 border collies. I love them but will never get another, they need waaaaaaaaaay too much excercise, and they are so damn smart its not funny. Gorgeous to look at though.

This is "bloody" roxy, on a rainy winters day. She's inside because there is a chopper flying overhead and shes going nuts

And this is a young pic of "piss off!" sonny.

Roxy never sits still, is always on the go, barks at choppers, trains, birds, whipper snippers, mowers. Sonny is the opposite, but is a pathetic kinda dog, wont leave you alone for a second.

Love em both!!

I hear what your saying beerfan. I’ve got an australian shepherd and cattle dog. We run or walk em 3 miles every morning and they STILL act like morons.

The heeler tries to herd the shepherd all day.  I just think to myself “Howisit feel”.  Luckily they hate the sound of power tools like planners.   Keeps em outah my hair.

I don’t know wether to hug them or get the nail gun and a shovel.

In the states we call those “velcro” dogs.  Cause there always “stuck” to you.

I got this guy; he lets me know when the boards look good. Doesn’t like to hang out at the shop anymore since he took a bite out of a live electric cord. Good thing it was only 110v.

ha ha ha, where's he been lately? haven't seen him on here...

this is my avatar, his name is Duke:

i've had him since he was a little butter-ball puppy he's 95lbs now. got him from the SPCA (animal shelter) in Oakland, he was off the streets. people ask what breed he is all the time. i always tell them he's a West Oakland Brown Dog.

this is my wifes dog Pudge from before we were married:

my wife and i have been together 8 years and Pudgie still just tolerates me.

Here's the original that inspired my logo. He would make that face after stepping on a wet lam or tripping me by walking under my feet while I was working. Cats seem to like the smell of epoxy.

I would yell at him and he'd just sit and look at me with his brow furrowed and his ears back.

Lost him a little over a year ago to a Coyote. A stray decided to take his place though, since my wife kept feeding it. I don't think we'll ever be without a cat. :(

Meet Mr DJ, a very nice Beauce shepperd, two years ago when he first came into our house:

…and one year later:

My beast no longer likes to be in the shop. She only passes through to head over to my nieghbors place to get treats from them.

wow! that’s almost scary how much your “cat situation” is to mine…

alway a dog person, but one day not long after I built my shed for board building, I heard a kitten mewing from under my shed… we had just adopted a puppy. they grew up together and now this cat sometimes acts more like a dog than a dog! coolest cat I’ve ever seen, he’s def a big part of this 3 dog family

2007 lost kitten under my shed

July 2010 still hanging at the shed, topside now

durbs works like a dog now…that’s why I thought it might count.

surfed with him this last weekend…saw Brett briefly and ate at a restaurant that was full of boobs; OC is an amazing place.

farking double posting non deletable post whoredome…

guard dogs:

they grow up too fast…

Man, awesome post. Awesome. Goes to show the inherent bond between man and animal. Take care of 'em…I went vegetarian after viewing footage inside a slaughterhouse. Will change your perspective immediately on the treatment of these gentle creatures.

OK, back to the pics…
