Hey Kayu, I never did get Paulownia, but my brother got some a while ago, and we haven’t used much of it yet. Maybe I can “borrow” it. We still have a lot of model airplane balsa and other woods we’ve started working with, so I should use that up before the bees ruin it. The big black carpenter bees love to make nests in the softer woods.
I have an idea for making a board similar to a chambered balsa, but using the strips and blocks we have, and not cuttting away, but building up sections. Right now I’m back to work, so play time will be split between getting back in the water and everything else.

Paul, a lawsuit is in order here! Go after those basterds , you can always settle out of court for a life time supply of swim wear for everyone on swaylocks or maybe that Ford in the picture !
