Speed eggs

Hi - could someone tell me what the main difference between a speed egg and an egg is? Is it purely about the rails and nose being a bit sharper on a speed egg? If someone has a piccy to demonstrate that would be great. Thanks.

I thought a speed egg was a little longer and more narrow. May well be wrong though.
