p.s. -
ARE you going for any of his SENSATIONAL sprays , on the DECK , by the way ?!
These will be glassed on.
Haven't discussed a spray yet. His sprays are gorgeous, though, as cheesy as it seems i don't mind the old rail spray to fade into the deck haha.
i like it beerfan.

Amazing!!
Maybe you should get some kind of Beer themed spray job?
Nice job BF!
OK, here's a weird one....
I've used keel fins on about 4 kiteboards and 4 fish surfboards.
Every single one seemed to spin out when loaded. The keel didn't seem to be the problem. It's the wide base coupled with smaller tip, causing some kind of vortex, which makes late takeoffs hard to track. Surprisingly, problem solved when the base was cut, allowing a little sweep back over towards the tail of the board.
IF, IF you spin out, consider this.
Sexy as hell i want a whole quiver
…
Chippy, haha good one!!.
G rat, yep josh does some freakin gorgeous boards, high tech and all.
Lee, I never had that problem with my first keel fish, which had zero rake, and a small tip. My current eggy keel with roundish tail ( and baby swallow ) feels unstable off the bottom, like you describe. It actually surfs better with aipa twin fins, with less base, more rake. Interesting, I think the straight planshape through the tail helps “lock” the tail in on a fish. Keels and a round tail for me just mean too loose. Loose is good, but loose, drivy, and controllable is the best!.
On a related note, in the past 2 weeks I have had so many chest to little overhead, clean, good shaped waves it isn’t funny. Had a ball on the 9’1", but can’t help but imagine how fucking good it woulda been to have the new fish. Guaranteed it’ll disappear when the board gets here!!!
