Spray Paint blank before or after routing futures fin boxs

Hi guys, gals

This is a pretty short one.

As the title says: should I router the futures fin boxes (3/4) before I spray paint the blank. I assume this is the norm.

Is it possible to spray the blank first.

I will need to wait about 1 week to have shipped the Futures Fin box router. If it is possible to spray first, I would do that immediately.

Regards

If you think you can rout the hole without screwing up your paint job, go ahead. Your paint job will be throughly dry, which is a good thing. The white of the blank will show through the “weep” holes on the flange. Strictly cosmetic. If you use a white box it won’t matter.

Dumb question, this is a poly blank not eps right?

PU.

I think I should wait and route the futures fin boxes first. So tempting. Another week to wait.

Yes I would be a little nervous if I had not done a Futures rout before or lacked enough experience doing them. Waiting to get the kit, doing the rout before paint and then painting is safe.
