Ok first lamination I’ve ever done and it turned out …ok. I used carbon fiber on the bottom and when I went to do the cutlap I couldn’t find my cutlap even after a solid masking tape layer and I botched the cutlap. No big deal, but I want it to be pretty, and I payed texalium on the deck and covered the carbon overlap on the decks rails. You can still make out the carbon under the Tex and I want to cover it up the way I originally wanted.
I’ve got the special spray paint from Michaela that is acrylic waterbased for styrofoam and glass. Can I spray the rails and then lightly sand them and lay the hot coat on like regular, by the way I’m using RR.
Or
Should I buy some black pigment and tape off and do a layer on the rails and hot coat like normal. I’d rather do the spray just because…I already bought it.
Even though I’ve screwed up a couple times building your own boards is the tits.
