anyone know how long spray paint will last on a board?

the board is a 7yr old beat up longboard.it has(had) a gloss coat.i dont want to sand or seal it. i just want to spray with krylon fusion no prep superbond paint(for plastic).

any chance of this lasting a couple years?

Howzit popey,Spray a couple of coats of clear over the paint to make it last longer.Aloha,Kokua

Krylon spray will last a long time if you overcoat it with clear like Kokua says. However, do any repairs first because you can’t glass over the krylon spray.

its done.

the story is…my wife was driving from here(maine)to n.carolina for a womens east coast surf championships.she had a beat up board and like in the movie slapshot she wanted me to make it look mean.but i only had one day to get it done.

so i painted a full length fish skeleton on the board.like dave ogla did on his puerto escondido boards.looks great.looks mean.i wouldnt drop in on her.

but then again i never do anyway.
