Congrats to Nick! Feels good when people excel on something you made doesn’t it Rich. Stoked for you too.

yeah i had a kid who i gave a board to who went from obscurity and made it through to the nations surf team! only to miss out on selection through breaking his wrist on a skateboard. paul

…Keep up the good R&D! …Herb

too cool, Rich, congrats.

Congrats, Rich! I use your Luxe on boards anywhere from 8 to 10ft. It was great to test drive it in some juicy surf in the islands. Keep me updated with new designs from the fin shop!

Hey Gregg, Thanks for the kind words. How did it go in Hawaii? Did it help your 8’6" nose ride? – Enough power off the bottom? – How about straight line speed? I know it’s not enough fin for a board much over 9’3" or so and the template doesn’t have quite enough tip area for a serious nose rider but as I recall it was intended as a good driving rather neutral fish foiled speed fin. Good Surfin’, Rich

Way to go Rich! Err… Nick! Well, to both of you… way to go!!!

Rich, you’d be surprised. That fin drives a 10 footer fine. I tried it on one that’s 23" wide and it seemed to be enough fin for it. But it’s optimal on the 8’6 about in the middle of the box I’d say. The 8’6 is 22" wide, and depending on the wave is somewhat walking friendly. Again, congrats on the fine work.
