Brian’s my boy. I even have a promo copy of “state of s.” It is kind of like a 10 min preview that was used at trade shows. Brian Taylor now shapes for DHD Surfboards and his clothing company Eternal is going strong. Drop me a line if you need anymore info on this movie or anything else. Brian is working on the movie right now, the only reason it has never been out is because Brian is unlucky in the partner dept. How did you here about the movie anyhow? Sean

Sean (Jennings, who among other things is a contributor to the film) and Chad Davis (music supervisor behind just about every surf movie these days) are helping me with Eternal under which we are launching State of S. I’ve had some major set-backs in the editing process but the extra time has also meant more opportunities to shoot Mick Fanning and others. The finished product is being built around interviews and surfing footage of Curren, Greenough, McTavish, and Fanning and a center thread of the storyline will be a look at design changes both now and during the pivotal shortboard revolution of the late 60’s. There is a wealth of footage here and I’ll let you guys know when we get closer to a release date. On another note, Sean and Chad have set up a silkscreen press in the garage to keep those Eternal shirts out there while I finish the movie and do my DHD thing. If anyone is trying to find those Russell Crotty shirts or others, just drop me an e-mail at work and we’ll make you one. Thanks for the interest in the film and wish me luck. I need to get this bastard done. -Brian
