What can you say about a design site that can roll for days on the simple question of where to buy parrafin? Or call for a Vezy/Wingnut fin template smackdown? Or talk about a 50-plus year old board design like the Simmons like it was made yesterday? Nothing…except thanks Mike!

I think of him as sun cure… Or maybe the Chuck Barris of the new millenium…
Talk is cheap everyone. How 'bout pushing that little button at the bottom of the page and giving Mike some beer money?
Talk is cheap everyone. How 'bout pushing that little button at the bottom > of the page and giving Mike some beer money? Talk isn’t cheap if it’s back up by 30-plus years of board building…it’s invaluable. No one is rich in here, Mister X, or whatever your name is. There isn’t an industry in the world where you’ll find more generosity by those with that much experience.

Well Paul Gross, or whatever your name is…Platitudes to Mike are all well and good, but he’s doing this on his own time, playing for the love of the game. When’s the last time you shaped an order for some stranger without getting the money up front? Mike is doing it every time someone clicks their mouse. Tell me you or any of the others around here couldn’t donate $5.00 to the Swaylocks fund…
Thanks Paul and everyone else. After close to 30,000 posts to this site, I’m blown away because I think that the quality and depth of the discussions is better than ever. Honestly, I’m constantanly amazed at the give and take here. It’s really grown beyond me. Sure I like to get donations, and I have gotten some VERY generous ones, but I also think that many folks here give in other ways that should be commended. Some continually give back to the community, some send me fins, some post incredible information and pictures. However you contribute, as long as you keep putting something into Swaylock’s to help build this incredible archive of information, I’m stoked. As it’s been said before around here: “Give a wave, take a wave. You’re up.”
Paul…your board gave me a woody!

This is a major part of why Swaylocks is a sucessful website. It would seem that anyone who learns from such info would gladly donate some $ for what they receive.People pay big $ to attend learning seminars. Would you rather have us donate $ or knowledge, I think the knowledge is more important. You know the saying, give the person a fish or teach him to fish. Aloha, Kokua
