i have found great guides on how to step by step shape a surfboard, is there anything out there on how to step by step glass and finnish off one. just something basic and easy to understand for an absouloute beginner… anything would be great cheers

reading and pictures are good but video is better. there are a few videos in here if you type in " resin swirl video you will get a good video." its not what you will be doing but it shows some of the motions. you can also go to austinsurfboards.com he has lots of glass work video. you could also buy the shaping 101 dvd for like 30 bucks, you might be able to pick up a copy from some on here. and the absolute best thing you can do is go talk to a local glasser and tell him your situation he might help you out and if that doesnt work show up with a hammer or a broom and offer to work for free for some lessons
