Here she is, board number 4, the first one I’ve posted. It’s the fastest tri fin I’ve ridden and doesn’t need much work to get it moving, I think that might be the flyers at work? It’s got good speed out of cutbacks, and is a loose as I need off the top.
Dimensions:- 6’0", 19", 2 1/4". At Tail 14"-at Nose 13". 7 inch tail. Wide point stretches back about 3 inches from midpoint. Rails as you might be able to pick up in the photo’s are really quite thin (accidental). I thought that might ruin the thing, but they don’t. Single to double.
Interested in your comments. Has anyone else made/ridden something with a similar setup. What do you think of this tail type on this sort of board. The whole back end of the board feels nice under foot.
Didn’t get around to the fins, they are Hexalites by Fin Solution I believe. They market them as being ‘S2’s’. Will let you know the dimensions next week.
Rear fin is 3 1/2" from tail…Sides…will let you know.
Nice board! I’m working on a 6’6" right now. Was wondering what you used to set the fins on the board. Did you use a bead of lam resin? Or did you use two part epoxy? Hot glue gun?
