Come on there has to be someone out there that knows how to break down styrofoam for recycling or to be able to remold into say…surfboard blanks…I got a ton of this stuff
It can be recycled by melting and reforming it. Someone else should do this. EPS comes in a wide variety and unless it’s made with the smallest of beads you probably won’t want to use it. Take a planer, surform, or saw to some samples. If it crumbles or comes off rough. Recycle. Look for an EPS recycling center don’t melt it yourself. Rob Olliges
my supplier takes my off cuts as long as there is no impurities on it they have a machine that breaks the foam back to beads …they then have a certain % of recycled stuff in there new foam… regards BERT
