Summer "report"

First - Thanks again to Keith M. for the sweet hook up of carbon-fiber tow.

Second - On Kauai they think the MvG is from wind surfing to get rid of cavitations. (my friends at home think it’s the plasebo effect???)

Third - My main man Dale is busy with his own health, so it may be a while before I can get some pics of my “long board beater.”

(which I didn’t really go head to head with long boarders on so…)

Forth - The small wave board which I just mentioned, paddled so well, caught waves early, rode like a skate board… but when it got @ head high, thick, and hollow, I couldn’t really push it at the bottom… just washed out.

The board is a tri-plane hull, 7’3"x24"x3.5", nose @ 12", tail @ 16"x2.5" thick… go figure, Ha! I rode it with big “twin fin fins” and a “regular” tri center fin.

Any one have thoughts to share on my plans to add an in line center box to try two fins + the two side fins, and two more boxes to make a “quad” type set up, or even try five, or, for Chip, all 6!!

Anyway, I had some fun sessions alone in chest high waves over there (Kauai) with just my trunks, my board and the sea. I also had some fun on smaller days with guys out… One thing was, I only surfed that board for the first week, then a little bump hit and I took out my low-volume semi-gun, and had a serious adjustment period, Harder to paddle, catch waves, and adjust too. But not to bad after a couple of switches.

Ok - thanks for reading, and putting up with my crappy spelling - ooo, wait, I got a new plan form working on a program with no spell checker (I find this one hard to use for how much help I need. Ha!).

…sounds like you had fun , mate !

good on ya !

cheers for the report
