Has anyone, that is glassing with uv catalysed resins, had any problem with direct sunlight curing. By this I mean, taking the lamenated blank and sticking it directly in the sun (not through a skylight or any other interference)on a cloudless day. Do you need to worry about the laps curing at the same time as the deck, or can you simply cook one side and then the other. What is the probability of yellowing(the blank of course)? How long would one need to stick the board in the sun, before the resin is cured(how about jelled). Again assuming a cloudless day. I understand that it is a good idea to blast the hot coat with uv for a short time. Then stop. Then start again to allow the wax to come to the surface. Are there any other important rules to follow. I am going to start working with this resin soon, and would like to avoid learning the hard way(as I so often do). Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
