Hey guys.
Just wondering what anyone here in OZ uses for a SUP rocker template.
Been looking around at bunnings etc and cant find anything other than timber long enough.
The MDF I used for my other template only comes in lengths 2.4 mtrs (8ft) max.
I suppose I could do the front half then do the back half but It would be to hard to get a clean cut with the hot wire.
Might have to join them togetter
Any answers???
Cheers

I have some 10’6" and 12" paddleboard templates made out of MDF that I joined together with a splice. Works OK. Just have to be a bit careful when you run the wire over the splice that you don’t get hung up. Getting someone to help is a good idea.

Thanks jong.
Yer I thought about it a bit more after I posted the question.
Maybe join 2 pieces together, then cut out your template.
That should give it nice clean lines.
How do you splice???
I thought about butting the 2 halves together, then glueing a piece that overlaps both pieces by about 1 ft.
