Super Glue

I have read the past super glue threads and haven’t seen much on it as a repair tool for small cracks. Not to say this question hasn’t be posed before. But being that super glue is very liquid it will absorb into the crack and seal it. But will it harm the resin or foam or? Just a thought. Also I’ve thought that if you made a very thined out mixture (acetone) resin so that it is liquid enough to absord the acetone would eventually evaporate and the crack would be sealed, much like crack repair on a windshield of a car, which does work. Any thoughts?

I did a bit of repair work on a friends popout, with car plaster. While the plaster was still damp I applied loctite superglue to the edge of the repair. The Gas given off was eyewatering nasty shit, pretty bad, acrid stuff and generated a lot of heat, but last time I checked it seemed to have done the trick.

Howzit Ambrose, Bossa man get his Zap a gap at the Kite and Hobby shop in Princeville, but it ain’t cheap. Aloha, Kokua
