supercharger questions for Herb and Dave

In some of Dave’s recent postings I notice an extra couple of little fins stuck on, which remind me of Herb’s supercharger descriptions. 1) are these Herb’s superchargers? 2) do any of your team riders use them? 3) why haven’t pro surfers started to use them? (or have they?) 4) where can I get them from? - I’d really like to try them myself. 5) anyone else tried them and found that they really do affect paddling? (sounds bizarre to me - but I remain open minded).

these fins were made from broken afs fins, the systen (afs) came and went at the beginning of fcs run. the fins work really well at helping maintain hold on steep sections or on hard turns. these were made long before i had heard of herb or even used a computer or the internet.you will see many things here on swaylocks that pros dont use! one of them being the fp… i do have a couple of sets that fit fcs plugs but i think you would be better getting some of herbs superchargers, he has spent a lot more time perfecting positioning etc… i did what i was trying to acheive with them and learnt some stuff … u guess ive moved on to make things a little more mainstream(read-profitable)! http://www.feraldave.com/sprays.htm

…You can get mine in FCS single box/plug single tab Superchargers with a pick of 4 templates,or glue-ons in one template only(for now?). …A few pros are using them in free surfing, and more are stepping up to the plate to try them.Dropped off a set of glueys to Tim Stamps this morning infact, great surfer/shaper. …You can email me @ …Checkout the photo archives # 200,201. Between the 6-8 foot range there’s alot of Supercharged boards, about half were built by other builders, not me.Herb
