superchargers

hello, i am new to this site and i live in the uk , i have been looking through the archives for various subjects and i am intrigued by herbs superchargers but have noticed they don/t appear much in the posts lately,do they really work as stated , i would like make a set to try out, if the performance boost is for real is everyone on swaylocks useing them, thanks

I have superchargers on my summer rocketfish and it really makes the board faster on the face, I really can’t even feel them. I also have superchargers on my 8.5 longboard. It seems that they help funnel the energy in front on the front two side fins but I don’t ride these boards in crappy surf only overhead fast waves I think they kinda of smooth out the tri-fin set up. Try it and if you don’t like it you can always take them off easily Herb glued mine on with expoxy I believe. These fins have to be layed out an foiled by hand.Good Luck I won’t be takin mine off tho.

…Yeah, Next to the thruster design, they work better than any other improvement I’ve ever used. …I know of several people, say, 6 or 7 years ago that use to laugh at them ,claiming “the little fins” were a joke. Then the C-5 came along and made things worse. Those skeptics???Now days as I write this, won’t ride any board with sidefins, w/o my Superchargers. …I have also given/sold/traded several sets of chargers to some BIG NAMES in this industry…They want to keep the Supercharger’s secrets to themselves. They don’t want others to know of their very noticable advantages. …The difference???like when the US Army went from bolt action repeaters to automatic rifles…that’s the difference. …In time The Supercharger will be standard issue.

hey herb how’s it? just got a new stick w/ red x fins and could use some glue ons. if you have any lying around let me know.

Hey Herb, I stuck a pair on my buddy Nick’s Rusty-Piranna and foiled down his center fin about 20% to give the thing some more rail to rail freedom and straght line speed and damn if he didn’t make the finals of the local beach break contest down at SeaCliff yesterday. We call 'em “SH” fins. He got quite a few questions about them. Nice surf here today, but the crowds are brutal! What an uncomfortable mix of different level surfers. Mahalo, Rich

…Sorry Bruce, missed your message.I’ll e-mail ya!Herb
