surf trip

hello, again guys! in december i will be heading to australia for a month! im not sure what boards to take with me, where to surf and in general some do’s and dont’s of a surf trip! first off, ill tell ya my quiver so far im planning on bringing 2 boards.

i got a

sk 6’4 fish

home made 6,1 squash a little sketchy on the fins though :(

home made 7,2 gun

home made 5,10 performance fish not quite finished though

a beater wrv 6,4 squash

what 2 boards do you think would best suit summer swells in sydney australia? also would it be worth it to rent a board in australia and leave my shit at home? also any locals or travelers know the best place to surf with out over stepping my welcome?

any comments would be great!

thanks

richard

I would take the fish with me....and if you want a high performance board you can get a second hand board there ... chilli, simon, dhd, js, webber,  stuart.... if you luck you can find a good deal and its always good to ride a diferent curve specially from these ozzy guys.

good luck

and make sure you be in the right place when the cyclones hit the coast

i would save on baggage fees and either buy used while there or, if i had specific needs or just the extra coin, i would order one from Josh and pick it up there:
