I need a new video…My all time favorite is Morning of the Earth…I want something with less talk and a mellow sound track…recommations?

I need a new video…My all time favorite is Morning of the Earth…I > want something with less talk and a mellow sound track…recommations? My picks: 1. Anything by Bruce Brown, specifically “Surfing Hollow Days.” Historic jazz! 2. Longboard mag’s “Contours.”-nice, mostly jazzy tunes. Great footage. 3. “The Seedling.”-Awesome cinematography, artsy, mostly Joel Tudor footage, some cool stuff with him on a shorty retro board. Gets a little boring by the end though. Great background for a lounge get-together.

The Crystal Voyager film is interesting but heavy on the narration. Greenough documented the restoration of his sailboat “Crystal Voyager”, a visit from Nat Young on a keel finned craft, Sandspit surf, unique footage of the aforementioned…gulp… Ranch. Very much a classic view of surfing from some of the key individuals that brought us where we are today. ***I’m looking for a Dale Davis film- “Liquid Space” Dale e-mailed me a while back and indicated that the original film was lost in a fire but there are still a few VHS copies out there. Anyone? ***** Tom Sterne>>> I need a new video…My all time favorite is Morning of the Earth…I > want something with less talk and a mellow sound track…recommations?

Can’t step twice on the same piece of water by Alby Falzon Sunshine Sea and Free and Easy by Mcgilivray Freeman Pacific Vibrations By Sevo Litmus has this stupid cartoon about a junkie, so I wouldn’t put it on my list. Kind of a downer. a lot of good films out there! aloha

Yes, Litmus. I love the Tom Curren segment. I haven’t really seen him riding a single-fin like that before.

P.S. I posted a copy of Litmus in the classifieds if anyone’s interested. Sorry about the plug!

Do you know where a copy of Free and Easy can be obtained? Surf and Sea in Hawaii is trying to locate a copy for me, but so far no luck. Surf and Sea in > Hawaii is trying to locate a copy for me, but so far no luck.>>> Mahalo, OL I’ve really enjoy watching “Sea of Joy” since getting it a couple of months ago. I dream of surfing Tamarin Bay like Wayne Lynch does in this film. If u liked Morning of the Earth, I pretty sure youll like this one…By the way OL, try Strong Current in Haleiwa or Chan’s in Waikiki for Free and Easy. The other MacGillivray/Freeman classic Sunshine Sea was also available when I got my copy of Free and Easy, just in case youre interested…

Ol, Longboard Grotto in Leucadia. I bought mine on the North Shore at Surf n Sport but I think it was a bootleg thing. If you have problems I can burn you a copy. aloha nui, TW
