Surf & Weather Forecast Update for S.A. 2003...

Friday the 5th is also looking like a fairly heavy SW swell day, at least chest to head high. Saturday the 6th we’re expecting to see the last burst of SW come through from the week long activity hitting us from the Southern Hemisphere. Look for another day of chest to head high surf. Sunday the 7th, so far, we’re expecting to see the SW begin to fade, chest high or so on the better sets. Increasing high pressure is expected to produce warm coastal and hot inland temperatures next weekend (9/6th-7th)

Please bring food. There will be a “cook it yourself” on the BBQ pit. If you have extra side dishes to kick in on a potluck kind of thing, great. Corn on the cob is usually pretty popular. I may be able to round up some snacks and Gary Geist will be bringing some sample brew from “Lucky Lab Brewery” in Portland. Bringing some extra beer, sodas or whatever you like is a good idea. The main request I would make of anybody with extra room is bring some firewood and some ice… Gary informs me that we will need about 12-15 bags of ice for the beer and it’s 3.50 a bag up there.

We can bring some fire wood and ice. STOKE!!!

Anyone out there showing up early? I will be arriving on Thursday morning. Gary

I’m leaving WA State about 3a.m. Thursday…Driving straight through…Mapquest thinks it’s a 15 hour one way trip…If that’s true, I should be there around sunset… Paul
