Its an addiction.I still get the heebie jeebies whenever I go in to a board building shop.Hell ,I drove by this place that pours resin marble cabinet tops the other day and I could smell the resin.My mind immediately shifted gears into a surf mode.I wanted to order 10 blanks.

Déjà vu all over again.
I can remember the first factory I ever saw.It was the old Surfboards Hawaii Shop in Haleiwa around 1964 or so.I was Jim Phillips grom and all around flunkie.We would go there to get foam and glass scraps for Jim’s ding repair business.I was so stoked and nervous that I was literally shaking.I can remember talking to Buzzy Trent but all I did was stutter.
