H

I’d love to come down for this, too. Maybe get a few surfs in with yah’all. Mike

hi Mike, that’d be great if you can make it down! We can find some fishy waves to surf  ------>only if you let me have the Shipman thirft store fish for $55 (jk, sort of…)

I’m so there if I’m back in the US by then…hope there’s room for us newbs

Bill, You are a true gentlemen for consistently sharing your knowledge with us here in swaylocks and taking time to host a design workshop. The sways crew on the east coast(and around the world) are envious of all the great thing you guys are doing. You need to have someone take some general notes to share and post with the sways family so we are not totally left out.

Guys,

It’s early in the process, but the donors for the raffle, are really coming to the table! Really a great response. Once the dates are set, I’ll list the donors for all to see. There will be blanks, fins, fin systems, and other surf related items. But… as a tease, one of the raffle items will be an SUP BLANK ! Can you believe it? It IS true. This is going to be fun.

I’m in if you have the space. Thanks for putting this together, I missed last years event, I hear it was really great.

Hey Bill - I will try to make it this time, assuming its on a day when I’m in town…

BILL I WILL TRY TO MAKE IT THIS TIME I LIVE IN SAN CLEMENTE SO I HAVE NO EXCUSE I WILL DONATE A POLYPROPYLENE BLANK I STILL HAVE A FEW LEFT LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN HELP

GOD BLESS RICHARD…

I was there last year and really enjoyed it. Count me in for this one.

Gentlemen,

The date for the workshop is set for SATURDAY JUNE 7, 2008 @ The Surfing Heritage Foundation, in San Clemente, Ca. More details will follow soon, with a link to make reservations.

I too would love to attend.

Hey Bill! Howzit! I think I am going to try to make this Gig. I’ll have to plan ahead, but I think I can. I hope things are good for you. I thank you again for aligning my Skil on the trunk of my Volvo there in mission Valley. I have my own shaping room up at the “Cannery” in Haiku beginning April 1st, so I am excited. Right down the hall from my glasser Dave Gott and in the same shop as my airbrush/painter; Dave Petersen. No more shared or borrowed rooms. I was looking thru an old copy of Surfer Mag last nite and saw a picture of you at the Shores. The article was called “San Diego Scene” Aug-Sept Issue 1963 Vol. 4 #4. Pretty Bitchin’! Your Friend Lowel

Lowel,

Good to hear from you! How did you come across that old Surfer Mag? I’d be delighted to have you ‘‘on board’’ for the workshop. As posted above, it’s set for June 7, 2008. I’ll have more info soon, on how to sign up, through the Surfing Heritage Foundation. There will be some ‘‘special’’ fins, and fin systems, available in the raffle, as well as lots of other ‘‘stuff.’’

I’m in too. I’ll load up the van with anyone who wants a ride from San Diego. PIZZA!!

There will also be beer.

I would sooooooo bring a keg to this thing.

PBR!?
