Surfboard glassers in Orange County CA.

Anyone know of a good glasser in the Huntington Beach area? I shape approx. five longboards a year and want to hook-up with a pro glass shop that can paint as well as glass. I used to go to Spanners in H.B., but they cater mostly to the “Big Client”. They took too long, and did not pay attention to detail. I’d appreciate any leads, Greg.

Try Brad Basham’s in San Clemente. Their paint guy is really good and S glass is available on all boards. Good factory! aloha

Hey Bro- The best glasser in HB area is Steve Albin of Aloha Glassing in Westminster-Aloha is listed in O.C. phone directory. DavO

Aloha is fine; but I found out that he only uses color in the resin. He doesn’t do airbrushing on his boards. Therefore the paint designs are limited.

Greg, Another vote here for Brad Bashum in San Clemente. Or you can try Waterman’s Guild in Santa Ana. Both good shops. Bob

Brad Basham is a great person, give him a try.Tell him Herb Spitzer sent you,he’ll treat you right!

Thanks for all the replies. Just wondering if any of you have also heard of, or used “Precision Fiberglass” located across from “Foam-EZ” in Westminster?

Just wondering if any of you have also heard > of, or used “Precision Fiberglass” located across from > “Foam-EZ” in Westminster? …YES,but it’s called “hour glass” now.Ask for Clutch,or Simon, alot of Merricks get glassed there.Tell em Herb sent you, they’ll treat you right.ALSO; Try Mystic surfboards(Gerson) he’s directly across from foam e-z(that’s who I personnally use),later.

another option…right next door to foam ez is The Surfboard Factory. Steve Adler does great work, always a week or less turn around.
