surfboard supplies u.k.

Hi Guys, Anybody out there building wooden boards in the u.k. got any info on decent timber suppliers. Im after some nice Obeche, tulipwood, etc, etc.Any help with would be much appreciated. Thanks

you might want to ask Mark from Glass Tiger. http://www.glass-tiger.com/

i picked up some tulipwood 10' x 7" x 7" when i was visiting relatives in dudley

only £60 for the lot

http://www.lathamtimber.co.uk/

they have depots elsewhere too.

That sounds quite reasonable ! Was that just the one piece of sawn? I guess you used it for rails, What glue did you use?I was thinking of  using Extramite.Should make for a virtual invisible glue line.

very reasonable! seen as seabase charge £35 for one 10' x 3/8 stringer!!

i cut it for stringers in longboards

i wanted to buy everything in there :o)

and there is a guy in bournemouth selling paulownia

I've been looking for some Paulownia for months on the internet with not much luck. Any idea of the address or number? How many Woodies have you built? and by what method? Was it a Jensenish design or something similar?

i contact him through ebay heres a link to one of his alaia kits.
