I’m going to india for a year… so being addicted to the ocean I need to pool the help of swaylocks and ask you guys if any of you know of some good breaks around bombay…Murud…Vasai or any other western seaboard areas of the country… even as far south as the state of Goa works… i just need to finds some good waves over there…also are there any shops over there…???

I’ve often wondered why we don’t hear more about surf in India. all that south-facing coastline. perhaps there’s a continental shelf that goes out far and really affect the surf?
I think that’s it… until it hits the mountians there’s like a nonexistant change in elevation
or that’s what I was told
from what i’ve read and seen theres some great waves in India, like everywhere with a coastline i guess.
