Howzit Wildy, Actually it's been pretty quiet over there and the black cars have been replaced with white ones. Al Gore and his family visited 3 times while he was VP and they stayed in Hanalei and it was a real Secret Service scene. The black cars were everywhere and they even tried to keep people of the lawn and beach in front of the house they stayed in, which was the same one all 3 times. You would drive by and the SS guys would be in the street on alert, but at that time he was still VP, I don't think they get as much protection after they leave office.
