Wow – that’s a nice board. Remember, if one of the tickets I bought wins, you should give the board to someone deserving/needy. Mahalo & Aloha.

Howzit chip, I keep getting the " this page cannot be opened when I click the link, ergo I can’t say if it’s the board.Aloha,Kokua

Yeah, I can’t see it either, I thought it was just me. I would also like to ride and assist transporting the travel board to southern cal.

these are not the board in question

does it have deep double concave in the tail ?

it kinda looks that way in the shot leaning against the tent …

not being able to find more shots of the board in question …the curiousity is killing me !

TJD or someone , PLEASE photograph the deck for us will ya ? pleeease ???

cheers

 ben

Yes please. More info. My ears are perked.

I wouldn’t mind putting a few go-outs into the journal. At least it would be nice to know more about this legendary board.

…has ANYONE got an update on where the board is , where it has been surfed , how it went , any PHOTOS of it being ridden , please ??

cheers

ben

[p.s. AND… can someone please tell me if THIS is the DECK of said board ?? …cheers ! ]

I had the board for a couple of weeks after Keith and Darren…must be seen to be appreciated. Deep concaves (single to double? It’s been a while) that you can really feel on a turn. As any single, the fin makes a huge difference. For me it came alive with a 8.5" Frye. I paddled it out at the Dale Velzy Paddle-Out. On the way in I was one of only three that caught the only ridable wave that day. Pretty special board. Pretty sure there’s Ambrosia instead of foam beneath the skin…

Ryan, if you find it, reserve me a go out too…

WHERE is it now ?

who’s riding it ?

what was the surf like ?

cheers

ben

salt,

How does a little go out at PSJ sound? We could bring our own boards and share the Swaylaholix board. Get pics of each guy riding, each make a journal entry, that sort of thing. Maybe an artsy perspective shot with the board standing parallel and the same height as the lighthouse in the distand background. Just dreaming here.

Who knows. May never see the board.

I know it’s been through SoCal, but if it makes it back here I’ve just acquired a starfin from Solosurfer and would be happy to do a similar concept to Salth’s, a few of us meet up and take turns, and we could try the starfin in it.

Ryan, sounds great, when are we going? We don’t need the board but it would be awesome to document it’s journey south… Where is that board??? We need to go out soon anyway seeing how we live so close.

just p.m.'d

travis Ill bet he has been snow tripping

with the inclement oregon weather

it’s a good guess that surfin the

board is an after thought.

lets see how long it

takes

him to answer

…ambrose…

jan 10

talked to paul jenson …going to try to hook up real soon for the transpot swayboard…

i dont know what to do with myself

the oregon coast is so lonly…this is my last winter here…mark that

portlands great but its not neerly close enough the ocean…and i need heat

and a pole barn …or atleast a pole barn if im going to survive here…

cold in gearhart

tj

there is a half inch of snow on the swayboard pics tomorrow

So Ambrose, are you in Oregon now, Was going to stop by your house Thursday but didn’t see anybody around and thought you might be traveling. Have fun, Aloha,Kokua

no I;m here the letter was a transcript of Tj’s pm to me about the travel board

when you come bring some stock fins or order me some…

I’m here mostly…

…ambrose…

Howzit Ambrose, Which fins do you want, right now all I have are M5’s and M3’s and some side biters for longboards. Am thinking about making another order since I need some 1000’s for tiny boards and some odd lot fins.Aloha,K

If ever going south, before Ventura, LA and SD, i’ll take in in Santa Barbara.
