If the purpose ( or one of the purposes) of this site in general was to sell epoxy resins and technology, gee, considering the general skill with which it is put together and run, wouldn’t ya think they’d do a better job of it? I mean, no banner ads for Acme Surfboard Epoxy, no popups peddling EPS, not a single redirect to a Carbon Fiber company of some sort. Either this is the worst job of salesmanship in net history or else… maybe… that isn’t what’s going on.
…‘not that harmful to the environment’ - I am gonna get on my recycled 100% organic granola, soy and hemp-based soapbox for just a second here. Considering that the vast majority of the surface of this planet is ocean and the rest of it is where we primates live and grow our food and all, that the complexity of the system is still well beyond our comprehension and that the various inputs to it give rise to outcomes we can’t predict… just how much ‘not that harmful’ can we afford? Ok, let me get down now…
As for this joker claiming 40,000 boards…well, McDonalds claims a few billion sold, but how do ya check them and for that matter how good are the items in question? By the same token, I can claim to have invented a cure for cancer, perpetual motion, a carburator that gets 500 miles per gallon and an infalliable way to prevent wetsuit boot stink, but if I want ya to take me seriously I have to prove it. And as they say in Philosophy 101, the burden of proof is on the claimant.
Me, I go on the theory that if ya don’t develop a few enemies in life, you haven’t done much. Though if those enemies tend to be lunatics, mebbe you’ve done pretty well.
