Swaylock's Is Moving

Hi all,

Just want to give you some advance notice that I’m going to move Swaylock’s to a new dedicated server tonight (Tues) or possible tomorrow night. There will definitely be some downtime on the site. You may also experience some unexpected (on my part) bugs once the site is moved to the new server. Hopefully I can get these cleared up as soon as possible. Ideally, you won’t experience any problems – just a little downtime.

If you notice anything weird on the over the next few days, before you send an email to me, please clear your cache and then reload the site to make sure the behavior you are seeing isn’t due to issues with your personal web browser. If you continue to see some major errors, please do notify me, with, if possible, the URL of the offending page.

Hopefully the new server will improve the speed of the site and allow me to grow the site in a more cost effective manner.

Since you mentioned the cost of things, what’s the total cost to you to keep the site up and do upgrades, or whatever, per year?

versus the total monetary input from the membership?

Seems faster here in Nor Cal too. Will the move effect the size limit on photos? Thanks for all of this. I owe you. ($). Will pay us soon. Eric

I’m having a problem with the “Search” bar.

It says “Object not found” for anything I type in there?

I am pretty sure I dumped my catch (Browsing History) under internet options in Internet explorer.

Any suggestions?

Also there is no updated threads on my swaylocks homepage.

It IS faster! That’s awesome.

((I will suggest Swaylocks memberships here, just because-- 24 dollars a year, Sways sticker, 10 off Swayshop? Access to the VIP room at the Swaygatherings (I can’t afford to go, don’t worry)))

seems good but I have gotten a couple of repeat PMs, and others have told me they have too. Not sure if that’s from the server move or not, seems possible.
