HAS SOMEONE HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH OR SURFED A SWIZZLE YHP5 BOARD. ITS A STRANGE LOOKING BOARD 18" NOSE,PARABOLIC WAIST,AFTER BURNERS, 15" TAIL WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF NOSE ROCKER. THE INFO I HAVE, IT PADDLES LIKE A MAL, BUT SURFS LIKE A SHORT BOARD, ALSO HAS Y BOTTOM, (WHAT EVER THAT IS) THANKS FOR ANY INFO. BY THE WAY HAS ANYONE TRYIED THE GLUE I SUGESTED. RABBIT.
i was surfing down at san onofre about a month and a half ago and i met matt morey (tom morey’s son). Since then i’ve seen him a couple of times down there and talked to him about the boards. he said they are made of polypropylene foam, the stuff in a Honda bumper (the way he explained it), if you squeeze it, it goes right back to the original shape. no pressure dings. on top of the foam is polyester resin. they also have a little rubber bumper thing on both nose and tail. as far as how they ride, i personally haven’t ridden one yet. but i’ve seen matt sure, and he’s pretty damn good on the thing. the board seems real fast, turns well, noserides very well… the whole deal. they’ve also sponsored jimmy gamboa. ill see if he’ll let me ride his board next time, then i’ll give you an update of what i think of it>>> HAS SOMEONE HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH OR SURFED A SWIZZLE YHP5 BOARD. hey bear, i’m only 18 so i dont really look around for rent and stuff. i live in corona del mar (southern end of newport beach), and i know rent around here goes from 600-1500 for back houses or studios and the like. thats about all i can help you with there. as far as surfers in that age range… there’s lots. check out Blackies (the newport pier) and you’ll meet all kinds of people your age, and they’re all really cool too. ill try and help you out if you have any more questions. -steve>>> hey steve, i’m thinking of relocating to irvine area…any ideas about what > the rent is like or do you know anybody(sufers) around 30-40 yrs old > around there who surf? i’m just looking for some inside info. mahalo.

Thanks Mat but what is the bottom curve like? I know it has very little nose rocker
Thanks Mat but what is the bottom curve like? I know it has very little > nose rocker rocker is really pretty darn flat, as is the bottom curve. In fact, as the local shop mgr. described it “…It’s just an ironing board.I don’t get it…”
