Ok -
So I finally caught one decent wave today… Shoulder high and peeling pretty good… The tail configureation works well, as the board turned like butter…
Here’s some fins I’ve customized for my summer surf trip to Kauai

Ok - That’s it! Have fun. Aloha - I’m going “Kauaizai”
More test reports to follow…
“Will I ever remember to change the pic size???”
Oh well…
I did this time, as the last double up was not correct…
This is intended to show the asymety I set up in the off set of my fin set up… It make a difference to me regarding toe/heel side, as I’ve written about in the past…

Hi Taylor -
Awesome design and fin layout. I hope you'll at least give it a chance with the tuburcle fins in front and let me know how it works like that. I'd also like to see a pic with the level laid through the concaves at an angle.
I’ll see about the pic John - I gotta start packing… Boo Hoo… Ha!
I’ve thought about the tuburcle’s in the front. I tried it on a tri fin, and it made a little difference, but I haven’t tried it on a quad yet.
Any computer savy person able to shrink my pics?
hi taylor
did you ride the one decent wave with these fins today ?
cheers
ben
Taylor O,
I dig your boards. It seems to me you take some ideas and really stretch them into something extreme. For example, deep concaves, huge step decks, multiple layers of fiberglass, tubercled fins ( open a beer with the one), asym, etc. Plus original artwork. Everything is very original and creative. Plus you surf the boards in real waves. Good luck in Hawaii. Say hello to Ambrose if you see him. Mike
Thanks you guys -
Chip - I rode it with the fins that are in the pictures.
Mike “Rooster” - Thanks for the kind words, and I’ll be sure to say hi to ambrose… if he isn’t lurking and see this first… Ha!
I got a few more fun little waves today… waist to chest, and I am still in awe of how it turns off the tail… Feels like skateboarding on a nice little bank.
Here are some more tail photos for John… any anyone else…
I’ll say this, in regards to the recent rocker thread, having the curve through the fins - thanks once again to Robin Mair - this board turns so nice so far…

Ha! Thanks Chippy… I figured you just be stoked with pics, but noooo, now you want ride documentation… Ha! I wish/hope…
Anyway - Peace and Swaylove to all. Aloha!
stick a go pro on your nose
nup , the board's !
or on your bicep ...
Ah the "go pro" - Hmmm... Most the footage looks a little lame to me, but I did see some from the paddle of a guy on an SUP that looked cool as it was a behind the rider view.
