Ordered a new board, bought a new tail pad and when both arrived, they went together. After my first few surfs however, I came to realize I really didn't like the pad. Now I'd like to remove it.
I heard a hair dryer and patience works. I heard a razorblade helps a little as well. Someone also mentioned that I could just tear the damn thing off; but I don't believe that's the best course of action.
If its a warm day it may just peel of in one piece.
If you have glue left behind wipe it off with a wax and grease remover like prepsol or prep wash or similar.
Dont use acetone or thinners if you have a speed or pro finished board. ( or any clear acrylic lacquered finish) it will strip the finish right off you board.
