tail rails((((

what do you guys like personally for longboard tails…round rails, or slight tucked under edge??? what is best for particular styles of riding??

Skip Frye has been quoted as saying that the old round bottom longboard tails “Suck… literally.” For general purposes, I’m sold on slightly thicker down rails in the tail. They’re not the best for nose riding (where you might want the tail to suck down) but seem to be faster on take offs and turns.

Yea i like turned down tails with a niceedge on em… so you dont slip when your tryin to do cut or bottom turn.

I like a nice sharp edge in the last to 18" on a longboard with 2+1 fins. Gives it a nice drive out of turns.
