Texalium cloth

searching the history here shows that, back in July and october, there were conversations about Texalium.

I saw some of R. Yater’s longboard guns lamed w/ the Hexel product. Besides the Aluminum’s aesthetic look, I was lectured on the increased compression strength. The little roll they had at the shop cost $750.00. They also inlaid the decks. Nice stuff. I’ll try to get a pic.

We’ve tested the stuff and there are some very promising aspects to it. A bit stiff to lap and it seemed to be best suited to deck inlays. We’ve also seen side by side impact tests of our resin combined with the 4 oz. Texelium vs. standard glass that were incredible. The Texelium performed much better than the glass.
