I hope that this post won’t be considered as an attempt to draw even more people to visiting my website, I really don’t intend to do that. BUT, going through Google’s site analytics, I just found out that a good number of visitors were from the States, Australia and Hawaii. I just want to thank all those English-speaking people for visiting my site since everything in it is in French…

I’m working hard on an English version but can’t tell you exactly when it will be ready. In case anybody needs any info, feel free to ask in English, of course: hit the Skill 100 at the bottom left and drop me a note.

now i’ve discovered how to use “babelfish” programmes for translating ,

and

how LITERAL the translations really ARE ,

I have hours of fun , laughing at the franglais .

it takes me a few minutes to translate the translation , so to speak ,

but it HAS been a helpful programme for me to try to understand shaperroom.net , to …

and I’m sure you and other frenchmen there get as much of a giggle out of my awful attempts at writing YOUR language too eh billy ?!

Just an anecdote, about those translations: some time ago I had advised the guys on Shaperoom.net to read some article (can’t remember which) about Mike DIFFENDERFER. One of them uploaded one of those “translations” on line.

Amongst many other hilarious things, the one that really had me rolling on the ground was “Mike DIFFENDERFER” being translated into “microphone DIFFENDERFER”…

Just today I was thinking of Booking one of the campsites in Biarritz for my summer holidays next year with the family. Youre pretty close. If I book it I’ll let you know. Maybe you can tell me where not to go. A friend came back from Rodiles last week with localism horror stories that would put anywhere else to shame.

By the way that UWL Bonzer was a complete dog. Whoever shaped it knows nothing about bonzers.

A couple of guys I know have just headed over your way for 2 weeks. Look out for 2 Irish reg tan Ford Transit Campers, Both guys ride 9’6" Rip Curl veneerd long boards (David & Fred) say Hi if you bump into them.

Hi Burnsie, of course if i can be of any help, let me know. As for your friends, I guess they must have been in Hossegor for the championships; I will keep an eye on all Ford Transits with an irish plate…

They are only heading over to Biarritz this week, They are older guys, not really interested in the WCT.

I just have to convince my wife that France is not that expensive for eating out etc. She seems to be better informed than me!
