due to the 6'1 x 20 having a narrower [less floaty] tail for our small summer waves ,
I fcs tabbed the probox keels that you so generously sent ,
so now I will be able to use them , in the longer , wider , thicker , flatter Walden , all through summer !
yewwww , I can't wait !
....first offshore , waist to chest-high day , this gets the priority .....
Larry , a question ...
do you think I would need to fill in the little 'knurl / 'grooves' ' [for want of a better word?] that you guys put in the tabs ,
in order that the grub screw will 'grip' better ' with the two tabs ? [I'm just a bit concerned , that the screw may not have as much purchase , as is ...?]
Hi Ben, Nice work my friend. I would fill the curves because I am more concerned about the tab now breaking because by cutting the FULL PROBOX BASE to a twin FCS tab the load will be pretty hard on the rear tab of the FCS causing a break to happen with such a large fin. Mahalo,Larry
