Thank you to Bryant @ F C S

My thanks to Bryant, and FCS, for being such gracious hosts to the workshop event. The venue was excellent, complete with shaping room! There was a true ‘‘round table’’ environment, with ideas and experiences being shared. I enjoyed meeting some new Swaylock devotees, as well as seeing some familiar faces. Thanks again to the host, and thanks to the fellows who took the time to come and participate. There could be no workshop without you.

Sorry for the double thread…missed this one…the FCS guys are a class act.

Does Leucadia Pizza deliver to LA?

Thanks for the hospitality, time, and knowledge yesterday Bill, Bryant, Dan, and Matt. It was nice to meet everyone and put faces to a name. Tyler, thanks for bringing the paper and materials down. It’s good to get the boys out of the garage and together every once in a while. We should fire another one off sometime soon. Maybe a vac skin / lam-res-tint/swirl combo?

Add some more thanks to Thrailkill, Bryant, Dan, Matt, great function, Thank you. John C.

Many thanks to Bill for leading the discussions and Bryant, Dan and Matt for hosting. I plan on making a few boards from the templates I took home (thanks afoaf for all the masonite) and hope to meet up with some of the guys on other projects in the future. The masonite sanding block is pretty trick and lets just say that I’m gonna have to get some of those fusion boxes for all my fins now haha. I wanna see how swied’s noserider comes out and the progress on afoaf’s FCS shaping room New Shape.

Thanks again to all who put on the event and also everybody who showed up and made it such a fun and interesting day.

I want to thank everyone that made it down to Bill’s Design Workshop. Apologies to those that we couldn’t fit in, but we’ll commit to doing more soon. Our crew was really impressed by the guys that attended and their passion for board design knowledge.

We’ll be working on a couple new workshops soon - keep your eyes open …thanks for the catalyst

Bryant

Thank you Bill, Bryant, Dan and Matt; and all those who came. Lots
of good advice and experiences. Seeing the breadth of FCS options was
excellent, and some timely tips during the discussion time. (adding stringers)

Family obligations forced me to leave a little early; great time.

Thanks again.

Add my thanks to everyone else’s. This is the third “Bill T Workshop” I’ve been to, and maybe the best yet. Great discussion led by Bill, lots of good input and food for thought. And then, so much going on after the discussion…what a great intro to FCS and the FCS team, you guys rock! There was template-making, templating blanks, shaping blanks, routing blanks all going on at once. A big shout-out to Dan owner/shaper of Solid Surf who so generously and patiently answered our questions about eps blank building and epoxy glassing. I thought his little pod-quad made from recycled eps “bones” was amazing. And, oh yeah, I whipped up a masonite/sanding belt “flexy-sander” last night. Can’t wait for the next workshop…put my name on the waiting list now, please!
