The 5-fin bonzer

This is the 5th board that I created. Pic posted as requested by chipfish61

Made by me, soon to be ridden by me ( i’m 5’10" 140-145 lbs). 5-fin bonzer. 6’3" x 18 1/2" x 2 3/8" I’m using a fin system so I’ll also have the option of trying it as a tri-fin.

11 1/4" nose width

18 1/2" widepoint

13 3/4" tail width

Made for fast hollow waves in the 6-10 foot (face) range. Basically sort of a small semi-gun. Not quite a semi-gun but bigger than my normal shortboard and meant for better waves.

This is before I have sanded the blank. The board is pretty much done, though.

Just a quick preview:

Once again, this blank still has to be sanded and I need to do some finishing touches on the board. But otherwise, this is pretty much what the shape will look like.

…glad to hear of your3 fin option .

What fin system[s] will you choose ?

cheers for the pic !

p.s. … are you going to have any spray or tint job for the board ?

I have lokbox fin system as the sidebites and a fin box for the back fin.

It’s going to have a blue rails going up and down the length of the board. Or maybe something abstract on the rails, like a paint swirl. I haven’t decided yet.

…are you getting the lokbox bonzer runners ?

or making your own , for the bigger 3 setup ?

I wish we had those systems here . I’d love to be able to play around with different bonzer runners , without adding too much weight to the board !

Post some pics of the bottom!

Who’s going to do the artwork? If you want to do a resin tint w/ some tiger stripes, let me know and I’ll go over and help you. Those are better when 2 people work on them. I have lots of extra tint, so you don’t have to order it.

Also, I’ll sand it for you if you buy me a gallon of resin.

Hey Josh.

No thanks on the tiger stripes.

But I would really like you to sand my board. Can I just give you the amount of money it would take to get a gallon?
