Herb, 21 and 17 year old daughter with a wife right there, too. It’s getting better in some ways. The 21 year old talks to me again after about five years. The 17 year old learned what not to do from the older sister. Rough road there for a long time… Mike
The new white future composites are light and stiff with beautiful foils and a range of sizes. And they are made in the USA. Try them before you talk them down. Some of my made in Asia carbon fiber futures are un-even and hummmmm at high speeds…

oh i agree on who makes the plastic injection fins,and what they are comprised of....makes a big difference........no doubt !
in that line of thought..................so does ............the whos and whats of what goes into making a fiberglass fin as well.
all and all,
both have there place in my fin quivers.
ps., this is the most new/un-waxed boards i have ever owned in along time................and i'm not finished either got 5 more blanks to work with,,,,,,,,,,all are coming out like classics............couldn't be any more stoked on building than now.

Yup Herb and Ambrose. Women are great and WAY more interesting than guys. I guess because I’m strongly heterosexual and I still don’t ‘get’ them after 54 years, loved the same woman for 32 years, raised 2 daughters, and work with nothing but women(second grade teacher). My mother in law has dimentia. In some ways it doesn’t look too bad. Happily ignorant of everything going on around you. Sit and smile. That movie you have seen twenty times is as good as the first time.

Wow you sound just like me. Been married for 28 going on 29 years, but been with my wife since 1981. I have 2 girls, 22 and 19. The 22 year old has been a blessing, the younger one has been payback. Some of you met my older daughter when my brother Oneula took her to Plaskett a couple of years ago. My mother in law lives next door and has dimentia, so my wife quit working to take care of her. The other day my mother in law asked me if I was still going to school, or if I’m working now.
I need to re-learn how to surf on a thruster, but I’m not in a hurry to do it. My newest board is a 5-11 X 21 X 2 5/8 egg that I call a “gun” because it’s not a roundtail fish. Not sure if I have issues with board width, but when I ride boards under 20" wide I have a harder time, especially if there’s any wind.
Wish i knew a bit more about fins ? , but have a wife that ive been with for 27 years and two teenage daughters ,The oldest kind, sensitive , charming , Intelligent etc Youngest has dislexia and is a good at sport bitch . And grey hair
I get to build surfboards while in hiding ,Craftly smoking weed now and again down in my workshop ! So progress is slow ! but the theraputic value great !
Its a real buzz trying to get into the swaylockians thinking , but found some common ground and had to pipe up !
