This is a test

I am lost in this new format jungle…tried to post a pic…

Did Obama have anything to do with this new format?

roger

Don’t know if he had anything to do with it…

photobucket is still the best way to post photos anywhere on the internet. IMO

EDIT: but, now that doesn’t seem to be working… WTF?

I can’t figure it out either… =P

I don’t know what you guys are doing wrong. I’ve been able to post pics all during the changes of late.

And, I prefer posting pics via tinypicdotcom. Easy to upload and no need for an account.

Such as:

Or, you can just do an attachment by using the “add a new file” option in the “file attachments” frame at the bottom of the page.

Like this:

thanks for the view sammy!

…ambrose…

refreshing pictures.

Or, you can create a photo blog somewhere like www.blogger.com and copy-paste the uploaded photo’s URL into your post using the** image of mountains in a frame icon** at the top of the comment box.

I have not lost a blog photo or forum post photo in 7 years doing it this way.

I have found that some blog sites do not allow external linking.

stoneburner, can you post an image embedded in a reply, right here? Your previous post gives a URL to a blog page, but there’s no image. Was that your intent?

Nice going, proneman. I see you used tinypic.

The URL link posted was an auto link when I typed the address for Google’s Blogger page.  That page is where you log-in to your blog or create a free blog account.

Here is a link to a youtube tutorial about creating a blogger.com blog:

With the new forum format here at Sways, I do often have to type in a string of verification characters when posting links to prove I am not a spambot.

Here is a photo using the URL from one of my blog posts at blogger.com:

Thanks…SammyA…now if you could teach me how to spell!!

Used Tiny Pic as I was before…

Who is on the far right? I can name the rest.

Yes. That’s called a “captcha”. Seems to be required if there’s any type of URL in a post. Pain in the ass, if you ask me.

McTavish…it was a couple years ago before (couple days) the Oahu Surf Auction…Brewer and McTavish talking about who was the first to inspire the short board revolution…they showed the Gidget Movie…a good time…Really liked McTavish… humble guy with a good sense of humor…Greg Knoll also cool…Brewer a little taken with himself…Jock humble and soft spoken…RR being RR…

Thanks Obama.

Thanks, proneman. I didn’t recognize Mac from that angle. I have respect and admiration for four of the guys in the pic. One other, not any.

Flickr…

EDIT:  WTF?  It looks like BBCode is no longer working.
