Thoughts on PVC stringers

 

So im guessing some of you have tried electrical conduit or pipe as stringers? I have been thinking of using two 25mm to 32 mm heavy duty, or light duty conduit lengths on each rail.
Drilling the holes down through the length of each rail. Drilling while the board is vertical as the welded drill bit of at least 5 feet in length will bend in horizontal drilling.
I might try it out even though there is less flex with extruded pvc.

My comments were to the naysayers that do not like PVC foam…It’s a good stringer…and a very good stringer for people cutting their own blanks…easy to work with…
